About the Artist

I’m a cargo pilot who finds himself with a God-given gift for painting. I enjoy flying airplanes as much as I enjoy painting, and I’m thankful for the ability to do both while earning an income. I was homeschooled by my parents along with my eight siblings, and I recently graduated Liberty University with a bachelor of science in aviation.

My artwork is an attempt to express the glory of God. In any scene involving the outside world, I want people to be reminded of the Creator through my art. I make an effort to give them a sense of awe, even if the viewer of the painting is not a believer.

My inspiration comes from a variety of sources, usually photos—many of which I take myself—but occasionally I find the image already in my head. Other times I come across a place in everyday life that sparks a vision of how it would look in a painting. My favorite themes are landscapes, birds, and airplanes, but I also take commissions. This privilege of bringing other people’s ideas to life has led to quite a few unique and interesting subjects, from city scenes to houses and pets.

My official career is in aviation as a pilot. The view is amazing, and I’ve enjoyed branching into painting scenes that I see from the air. In the general busyness of life, I still make time to paint God’s creation and further His kingdom.
